1. Introduction

Platrly ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Platrly mobile application and the website at platrly.com (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our Service.

By using Platrly, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an owner account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. This information is used solely to authenticate you and associate your account with your organization and locations.

Business Data

We store data you enter into the app, including organization names, location names, employee names, employee clock-in IDs, user roles, checklists, tasks, and task completion records. This data belongs to you and is used only to provide the Service.

Device Information

When a device is set up as a kiosk, we store a binding between that device and your location. No device identifiers, hardware IDs, or personal device data are collected or stored.

Usage and Feedback

If you submit a bug report or feature request through the app, we collect the content of your submission along with your user role and location name to help us address the issue.

Contact Inquiries

If you contact us through our website contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message in order to respond to you.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To authenticate users and manage account access
  • To store and retrieve your business data across devices
  • To respond to your support requests and feedback
  • To diagnose bugs and improve app performance
  • To send service-related communications (e.g., billing, security)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Supabase, a database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Supabase encrypts data at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols.

Access to your data is protected by row-level security policies. Only authenticated users with permission to access a given organization or location can read or modify that data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords for your account.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Platrly:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data is stored in the United States.
  • Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app subscription billing.
  • Vercel — website hosting.

These services have their own privacy policies governing the data they process on our behalf.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a location or your organization, all associated data is permanently deleted from our database. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you reside, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability (receiving your data in a structured format)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@platrly.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Platrly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
